Meet the Board Members

I currently serve as the president of the Bluestem Education Guild and care deeply about raising students to be truly and fully human. I joyfully participate in the Larkspur co-op with my 9 children. I love to thrift and discuss Flannery O’Connor stories with anyone who will read them.

I’m Sara Holmquist, secretary of Bluestem Education Guild and a member of the Larkspur chapter. I’m married to Josh, and together we’re raising four awesome tweens and teens. I’m passionate about mother culture, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Give me a good cup of coffee and a satisfying handicraft, and I’m a happy woman.

I’m Hannah Cone, and I serve as the Treasurer and Events Committee Chair for Bluestem Education Guild. I’ve been involved with our co-op and nonprofit since the very beginning and am deeply passionate about building a thriving community where families can connect, learn, and grow together. Community and hospitality are close to my heart, and I love creating opportunities for fellowship through our events and gatherings. I’ve been married to my husband, Brandon, for 17 years, and together we have four wonderful children. I am Lisa Hajda and, as a Member at Large serving on the Board of Bluestem Education Guild, I lead our Feast of Ideas Retreat committee as well as participate in the Drama and Orchestra Committees. I have been adhering to Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education for over 35 years as I have homeschooled our ten children.
