Amelia Rodgers

Director

I am a second-generation homeschooler who has loved using Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy while homeschooling my own children for the past 11 years. I am impacted daily by the rich, welcoming, and enlivening atmosphere that this lifestyle provides, both for my five children and myself. Serving as the director of the Cottonwood Chapter is one of the best parts of my life. My role includes making sure that every part of the co-op day runs smoothly, supporting mothers and families, and facilitating our continuing education in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy. I coordinate our Shakespeare team, help lead Symposium, and am the classroom coordinator for the Upper Elementary class. I’m also the go-to gal for all of your questions. When in doubt, ask me and I’ll point you in the right direction!

Secretary

I am a wife, homeschooling mother of three daughters who loves sharing the Charlotte Mason philosophy and the richness it brings to homes.

As Secretary of the Cottonwood Chapter, I combine my love of community with my love of organization—especially if it involves a well-designed spreadsheet. 


I enjoy helping families connect, keeping details in order, and creating systems that make co-op life run a little more smoothly. When I’m not homeschooling, you can find me reading, writing, crocheting, or crafting

Clara Williams

Treasurer

I am second-generation homeschooling mother of four daughters. My ideal day consists of plenty of time to read aloud and create with fiber arts. Always up for a cup of tea and a good laugh, I am grateful for the wisdom Charlotte Mason has given her to educate my children in a way that enables them to better know God and the world He created.

I am the treasurer for the Cottonwood chapter, so please contact me for ordering supplies for lunch or classrooms (need some glue sticks? Paper plates? More coffee? Have a great idea for a curriculum resource?). I co-coordinate Morning Time to start our day together and am the point-person (aka classroom coordinator) for any questions about unit outlines for the Lower Elementary classes.

Morning Time Majesty

As Morning Time Coordinator, I help coordinate the kick-start to our co-op day. Think of me as the early bird making sure the flock is gathered and ready before the learning adventure begins! I am also the Middle School classroom coordinator.

Feast Cycle Majesty

I am a homeschooling mama to 5 kids ages 3-15. Growing up with a conventional Asian education, I relish the whole-person approach of Charlotte Mason home education. I homeschooled my oldest for one year, but then had to take a break while living in Germany where homeschooling was not legal for them. Yet I kept up with reading living books to my kids when they came home from school, or lined up audiobooks to listen to while roadtripping to places. 

I am so honored to serve as the Feast Cycle Coordinator for Cottonwood this coming year. I will be happy to answer all Feast Cycle related questions/concerns, and to encourage moms to build meaningful connections with the subjects they teach, which will overflow to the students.
